Handling & Safety Guidelines

PPE Requirement: Because glutaraldehyde is a severe respiratory irritant and skin sensitizer, operators must always wear appropriate protective gear (nitrile gloves, protective eyewear, and a mask) and work in a well-ventilated area 

Pre-Cleaning: Instruments must be thoroughly pre-cleaned and dried before immersion, as organic debris or excess moisture can dilute the active ingredients and compromise effectiveness.

Rinsing: After the required immersion time, instruments must be meticulously rinsed with sterile water to remove all chemical residues prior to clinical use.
