ENDOSEAL ROOT CANAL OBTURATION CEMENT
Description
ENDOSEAL ROOT CANAL OBTURATION CEMENT is an eugenol-based, radiopaque zinc oxide root canal sealer designed for permanent root canal obturation. It is formulated to be used in conjunction with gutta-percha points to create a hermetic seal throughout the endodontic canal system.
Kit Contents
Powder: 15 g jar (containing zinc oxide and radiopaque agents).
Liquid: 10 ml bottle (eugenol-based liquid).
Accessories: Powder measuring scoop and mixing pad.
Key Indications
Permanent root canal sealing and obturation during endodontic treatment (used alongside gutta-percha points).
Features & Performance
High Flowability & Fine Texture: Smooth consistency allows the sealer to penetrate easily into accessory canals and apical deltas.
Hermetic Marginal Seal: Offers low solubility in tissue fluids, preventing microleakage and secondary periapical infection.
Radiopaque: Contains radiopaque components (such as bismuth subcarbonate) for clear identification on diagnostic post-operative radiographs.
Anti-Inflammatory Action: Eugenol content provides mild analgesic and antiseptic properties to soothe periapical tissues following instrumentation.
Adequate Working Time: Extended working time allows for thorough adaptation without premature setting during multi-canal obturation.
Clinical Application Protocol
Mix the powder and liquid on a glass slab or mixing pad until a smooth, cream-like paste is formed.
Coat the dry root canal walls using a paper point, Lentulo spiral, or master gutta-percha point.
Place the main gutta-percha cone and complete obturation using lateral or warm condensation techniques.
